Finance Analyst (Contract – strong potential for permanent)

An established organisation on the Gold Coast is seeking a Finance Analyst to join their team on a contract basis, with a strong potential to transition into a permanent role.

Working alongside another analyst, you’ll support key financial processes and deliver analysis that helps drive business performance. The role will suit someone who enjoys a mix of reporting, investigation, and collaboration within a supportive team environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare and review weekly and monthly financial and management reports

• Analyse financial performance and variances to budget

• Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and data accuracy

• Partner with operations and finance to provide clear insights

• Support month-end and year-end close processes

About you:

• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance (CA/CPA qualified or working towards)

• Experience in a similar finance or analyst role within a large or complex organisation

• Advanced Excel skills; SAP or TM1 experience is advantageous

• Google suite experience is a big plus!

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

• Must currently reside on the Gold Coast
